ORKS, ORKS, ORKS! 'ERE WE GO! 'ERE WE GO! 'ERE WE GO!
Welcome to the final part of 'Alternative Orks'. Yes Gorthunk is a bit overexcited again though I suppose that is only natural for a flyboy. Or Orks in general for that matter. Personally I'm happy that this is the final part and that my green skinned 'assistant' will finally leave me.
Copplestone Castings has a range of 1/55 scale armoured vehicles and tanks that would look good in just about any Ork army. As always, some converting is needed but Ork players are not strangers to that particular procedure.
SUM EXTRA GUBBINS 'N BITZ WILL MAKE THAT WAGON LOOK PROPA ORKISH.
CNC Workshop Miniature Scenery is mostly known for their laser cut MDF terrain, some of which might work well as terrain for an Ork army. They do however dabble in other things as well and one of their latest releases is just superb. Well designed and truly Orkish, their Goblin Gunz is well worth adding to any Ork army, especially considering the price. You get a pack of three guns for about the same as one of Games Workshop's new Mek Gun! Sure, there is no crew and you only get two weapon options but it still well worth the money
MORE BOOM FOR LESS TEEF? ORKSES WINS AGAIN! DON'T NEED SUM STINKING GROTS ANYWAYZ.
Perhaps the best place for Orky looking vehicles, Ramshackle Games has a ton of models that would work very well in an Ork army and in many cases without the need for conversions as well! Perhaps even better, they have made it possible to purchase just about every part they produce seperately. You know, like Games Workshop used to do, before they decided it 'didn't make enough money'.
EVEN MORE GUBBINZ 'N STUFF TO LOOT! WATCH OUT FOR DEM DETHSKULLZ, DA SNEAKY THIEVIN' GITZ.
And finally the last and greatest of them all. Probably the King of Kings when it comes to alternative Ork miniatures, Kromlech has just about everything you might need for an Ork army. Weapons, heads, bodies, meganobz, vehicles, cannons, and even a dreadnought, are all things that Kromlech sell. They even have a range of Orks styled after world war 2 Germans and they are also working on Orks styled after the US army. If you can't find what you want here, I don't know what to do.
ZOG ME, DATS... DATS... FLAMIN' GORK DATS BOOTIFUL! SIGN ME UP FOR SUM OF DAT!
In any case I hope you have found this useful. Now go forth and make an Ork army you can be proud of!
