Cad Bane is a character that I know very little about. I knew even less about his personal starfighter, a Rogue-class Porax-38 called Xanadu Blood. That has now changed with this squad of ships.
The idea here was to create two squad mates to Cad Bane, painted in a similar fashion to Xanadu Blood (can be seen in lower left corner of the last photo). To that end I had to replicate the colours found on the original model and the recipes can be found below.
- Green - 9:6:1:1 mix of Vallejo Game Colour (VGC) Goblin green, Vallejo Model Colour (VMC) Reflective green, VGC Sombre Grey and VGC Turquoise.
- Yellow - 3:1:1:1 mix of VGC Plague brown, Army Painter Daemonic yellow, VGC Cold grey, and VGC Stonewall grey
- Red - 3:2:1 mix of VGC Scarlet red, VGC Bloody Red, and VGC Cold grey
- Grey - 2:1 mix of VGC Cold grey and VMC German Grey
Also I just have to comment on the Gauntlet Fighter, it's really friggin' huge, almost to a comical degree. How anyone can call it a 'Fighter' escape me as it big enough to be considered a small capital ship.
