Commission: Cara Dune inspired squad

I'm very much an old school Star Wars fan and I don't care much for most of the new stuff that's being produced nowadays. However I had at least heard of the character Cara Dune before I started painted this squad inspired by her colors.

Commission: TIE Defender

Not all models needs to have an extraordinarily grandiose paint job, sometimes it can just be a simple TIE Defender with red squad markings.

Commission: Bo Katan Squadmates

This is very much a part of the same commission as Bo Katan's Gauntlet Fighter I posted previously. Basically, two Fang Fighters painted using the same colors, with the intent to create two squadmates for Bo Katan.

Commission: Bo Katan's Kom'rk Gauntlet Starfighter

This latest offering is from Mel Miniatures and it's an alternative take on the Gauntlet Fighter. It's smaller and more detailed and I feel it is a better design than the official model. However it also hides a secret in plain sight.

Commission: Captain Rex inspired LAAT

Captain Rex seems to be getting extra attention lately. I wonder, will my next paint job feature an Armada model painted in his colors?

Commission: Cad Bane's alternative Justifier

I don't really know how to classify this one. The model is supposed to represent Cad Bane's Justifier though it is clearly not. Perhaps a better word is 'inspired' by or an alternative take on the original?

Commission: Mandalorians galore

A bunch of Mandalorians for your viewing pleasure this time. We have two Super Commandos, Axe Woves, Koska Reeves and Gar Saxon. Take your pick, we have enough for everyone!

Commission: Captain Rex and Clonetroopers

The Clone Wars is honestly something I'm not super familiar with, I've especially never seen the animated series dealing with the subject. However cultural osmosis is prevalent enough that I can identify Captain Rex and his troopers without trouble.

Commission: SS-54 Squadmates

And here is a follow up to the SS-54 I posted previously, a Star Viper and HWK-290 painted in the same style and colors.

It's been a while since my last post. The reason? Baldur's Gate 3. I'm 100 hours in and it will probably hold my attention for at least 100 more hours, it's that good. Anyway, here's an SS-54 Assault ship for you to enjoy

Commission: Shattered skull Firespray

And here is the third and final ship in this trio of skull themed ships. I'm certainly not the first to paint the Firespray in this style and it's highly unlikely that I will be the last.

Time for some early holiday cheer and I can think of no better way to do that than show a Vaksai with a big honking skull painted on it. 

Commission: G-1A inspired Kihraxz

This is a bit of an oddball. It's a Kihraxz that has had the basic colours and markings from the standard factory painted G-1A starfighter applied to it, albeit to a much higher level.

Commission: Sentinel-class landing craft

 

The Sentinel-class landing craft, the big brother of the far more well known Lambda Shuttle. This one is 3D printed but I actually scratch built one of these many years ago. 

Commission: Ezra Bridger's RZ-1T trainer A-wing

 
Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels fame apparently used an A-wing trainer during the show. I had no idea this was the case before this paint job.

Commission: Ashoka Tano's Aethersprite inspired A-wing

 
What if Ashoka Tano had repainted an A-wing in the same colors as her Delta-7B Aethersprite from the Clone wars? This ship explores that particular idea. 

Commission: Rogue One Blue Leader

This is the first of several parts regarding Blue Squadron from the Rogue One movie. It's an entire squad of twelve ships that I have painted. However that is for later, here and now we have Blue Leader.

Commission: Bistan and Pao

A few more Rebel Alliance pathfinder models, this time two astromechs as well as two named characters, Bistan and Paodok'Draba'Takat Sap'De'Rekti Nik'Linke'Ti' Ki'Vef'Nik'NeSevef'Li'Kek. And no, that's not a joke, it is his full name but Pao is thankfully the short version.

The last two updates have been all about the Empire. Now it's time for the opposing forces, a group of Rebel Pathfinders.

Commission: Shoretroopers

Unlike some other Star Wars movies made under the House of the Mouse umbrella, Rogue One is actually pretty good. And the Costal Defender Stormtroopers, or Shoretroopers as they are more commonly known, are also pretty good.
